He reeled in five catches for 126 yards with one long touchdown. He set career highs in catches, receiving yards, yards per catch and touchdowns this season. He’s a well-built speedster with strong hands.
With the top quarterbacks done, it appears Rosen sitting out UCLA’s bowl game was a blessing in disguise. Outside of Rudolph, all the most highly touted signal-caller prospects had average-to-horrendous outings on the national stage. Rosen looks the part of an NFL quarterback yet strangely has stretches when he appears out of sorts and can make bad decisions.

The Patriots’ opening drive featured a heavy dose of Julian Edelman, but their reliable receiver was unable to finish the drive. After catching his third pass and picking up his 52nd yard of the drive, Edelman limped off the field with an apparent leg injury.
Poona Ford, DT, Texas — Stout at 5-11, 303, Ford is a powerful player capable of collapsing the pocket with a middle push. He was productive at Texas with four sacks and 20 1/2 tackles for loss from the middle of the defensive line and he provided consistent pressure in the East-West game.
Daurice Fountain, WR, Northern Iowa — Fountain was the offensive MVP at the East-West Game after catching three passes for 61 yards and returning a pair of punts for 40 yards. He had good hands and size at 6-1, 210. An All-Missouri Valley Conference selection, Fountain had a great week of practice and his value on special teams will likely land him on an NFL roster.
Interim offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave, who joined Denver’s staff from Oakland this season as quarterbacks coach, was promoted to permanent offensive coordinator.
