Free agent Welington Castillo is the Baltimore Orioles’ primary catching target, according to reports from BaltimoreBaseball.com and the Baltimore Sun.
Rumor CentralCiting industry sources, Baltimore Baseball’s Dan Connolly reports that the Orioles are in discussions with Castillo’s representatives. The O’s talked with Castillo’s camp at winter meetings, which ended Thursday, and “there is optimism that a multiyear deal could get done.”

Players are ranked by their average yearly salary, or A.A.V. (average annual value), beginning with the most expensive.
